During my first transitioning period, the back of my head was the worst. Sometimes I wouldnt even try to comb that part because the comb would break. The lady at Family Dollar asked me was I sure 3 combs would be enough because I was there the weekend before buying the same combs.

The crown soaks up moisture and stays dry. The sides are thinner. I would like thick sides and I would just deal with the crown. Also- I can't stand that he the front of my hair grows the slower than the rest.

Mine I would say is the top front and towards the crown where the texture is looser and straighter than the rest of my hair. It makes styling a little more challenging but I've learned to work with it.

My crown too is the coarsest area of my hair. I used to think it was my nape but after really learning about hair, and learning about my hair, I realize that the nape is the least coarse area. It's so funny how I used to perceive my hair before LHCF.

Mine is my nape area. The texture is totally different there and it's shorter than the rest of my hair. When I wear my hair curly it's always frizzy and the curls are not defined. I've learned that I have to treat this area different than the rest of my hair so it's gotten better.

@2cute2Be4gotten.....Wow, love that bun! Beautiful!!

My crown is the most rough and tough with it's afro puffs.....not only does the new growth have a mind of its own...my scalp gets the itchiest there and my hair is also the shortest there...I think the shortness comes from trying to get through the NG and I end up breaking my hair off.
