You guys have helped & continue to help me so much that there's no way I could just name one thing.

1. Moisturizing ends
2. Sealing in general
3. The greatness of oils
4. Adjusting the water to find the right temp. for washing your hair (this one is SUCH a big deal for me)
5. AO GPB
6. Aphogee 2-min
7. KBB products
8. Seamless combs
9. Detangling
10. Combing from ends to roots
11. The value of protective styling
12. Porosity (definition & info about it)
13. Scalp stimulation
14. Teaching me what a moisturizer is
15. Introducing me to leave-ins
16. Introducing me to clarifying
17. ACV rinses
18. Protective styling
19. Minimal Manipulation
20. Listening to my hair (perhaps the most important lesson of all)

AND A WHOLE LOT MORE THAT I CAN'T REMEMBER, I'M SURE!!!

Mine isn't a product. Its my halfwig. Yes, fake hair.

I wasn't a wig or weave girl before August 2008. But after seeing some pics of the ladies on the board and on Fotki, I decided to invest in halfwigs to get through my short hair phase. Its hard growing out the back of a short cut without looking at HAM. I don't know if would have been able to do it without the wigs.

*sleep in Satin Cap
*Moisturizing/sealing
*Castor oil!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Deep condition
*Heat protectant
*Hood dryer/airdry

Sorry but too many to name just 1...LOL

Besides you all....

My number one find on LHCF is that there is no one miracle product; the combination of products and methods that suit my hair best have given me optimal results and is the BEST thing I've learned here. As far as products, I'd have to give it to Aubrey Organics Conditioners, Elasta QP Shampoo, Honey for pre-pooing, Keracare for DCing and MegaTek just because it has thickened my hair!

You all are such cheaters!! lol

For me it would be oils. I love Extra Virgin Coconut Oil!!

More than one...

- Focusing more on retention versus growth...
- Just knowing that there are chicks/dudes who are just are obsessed with hair as I am
- Becoming a DIY'er with regard to my relaxers ...
