what's the most exciting length you've reached so far?

When I hit bs, I'm going to be super excited. I have never been bs before, so I"m going to be when I get there and if i make it to midback. OMG, I'm going to let out one of those screams that men do when their watching their favorite sport.

last summer before I bc-ed I was just past shoulder length - my hair had NEVER been that long (thanks MTG!)

Neck length so far after bcing and chopping my hair down to 2 inches long. My hair had been past neck length before but this time was different. I was afraid that if I cut it, it wouldn't grow back or it would take a really long time. Most of my hair grew back in a matter of 6 months. It made me realize that my hair was finally back on track.

This is the longest my hair has ever been and I was very excited. Now I know my hair has the potential to grow.

When I reach full BSL with blunt ends, I'll even be more excited.

i'd have to say the most exciting length that i've reached so far is where my hair has reached just below my chest.... that was pretty darn exciting because if i remember correctly, i was only a few inches from waist and it was so nice! Only problem was, my hair was a combination of natural and straight so the straight had to go. I was sad to do it but then i thought about how long i could reach if my hair was all natural- so i'm anxious to return back to that length which i'm making timely progress!

I was most excited when I reached slightly below armpit length. That was the longest my hair has ever been. I can't wait till my hair reaches bra strap, then I'm gonna really be cheesin .

Were I am now, though in retrospect it's not my main goal I am seeing progress. When I see my hair I can't believe it's me. People have taken notice of the thickness, and length, even my sister, who I have been trying to get her on a healthy regimen for her hair, is now asking me to help her get her's back to a healthy state.

I have 4 months of new growth and won't be
relaxing until the end of August, so hopefully by then
I'll be able to be excited but for now I can feel the growth

My TWA is my most exciting length so far. Though I usually wear my hair short, it'd never been that short or natural, so it's really exciting trying new products and accessories for my hair.

The first time I was ever excited was when I felt my hair touching my back in the shower. I just about ran around the house Bucket Nekid because I was so happy .

I think the next time will be when I can wear my hair down at a full thick and lush APL. APL that looks like APL from the front which will possibly be BSL for me but I am cool with that and I look forward to that day

I will be totally and completely content when my hair looks like a number of my hair idols on this board

I need to kind of update this:

Today I've realized that without a doubt, I'm offically at armpit.

Today I wore my hair down when I went to see a client, it was getting caught on everything, purse strap, seatbelt...getting in my way at lunch (ended up with a mouth full of hair and food...uggg!!!)

But it looked good! You know I put it right back up after I got home though

Now if I can only get the front to grow faster....

I was too young to appreciate my most exciting length. I was waist length as a girl, but that was all-natural hair. As an adult my most exciting length has been bra strap which I seem to reach without a problem.

But I'm transitioning and slowly cutting off my relaxed hair. Right now I'm shoulder length, but I'll be ecstatic when I cut all the relaxer out and my natural hair is shoulder length (unstretched). I'll probably act a fool when my natural hair gets to bra-strap and beyond .

Right now it is collar bone length. I can't believe my hair can get that long! I am hoping for underarm length hair. That would put me on my knees (saying thank you!)

My hair is hidden right now, but my bf pulled a piece taut (I'm a 4a natural) and he said "wow your hair really is growing" it reached below my colar in the back (past shoulders!).

My hair is about 7 inches long in back. That's currently where all my length is at.

I just wanted to say that since this post my hair is now 11-12 inches in the back! So my routine is definitely working! I stopped hiding my hair and now I'm on a low heat routine (rolling weekly) wash one time per week, deep condition, minimal heat, protein shakes, vitamins and oil (internally). I can't wait to see where I am in a year. Oh and now I drink about 64 oz of water per day.

My current length is the most exciting for me. I had always been able to achieve shoulder length or slightly longer, but now I'm firmly at APL and loving it. It makes me feel like I CAN achieve my long term goals! My thickness is also returning and I'm thankful for that too!

Congrats! i need to update my answer. so far reaching shoulder length was my most excting moment. i've never been longer than a little below ear-length.

for me it was neck-length. i freaked out cause that's when i realized that my regimen really was working. i walked around all day with a big silly grin on my face. hey i started when my hair was ear-length. anyway, what length gave you a similar reaction?

It was neck length for me too!!! I don't even think WL will be as exciting because I already know full well that I'm now capable given that I'm patient, but I was excited about NL+ because my hair was never past my mid-neck, and this went to show that yes, my hair CAN grow!!!

Just where I am now because I've never been here before. I think the longest I'v been is base of neck, almost should. Now I'm moving beyond shoulder and I am so happy!
