I have no idea how to determine the type of my hair, are you ladies able to assist me? My pictures when my hair was semi-dry.

If it would be better to take more pictures I can do that either today or tomorrow :)

Many thanks in advance!

Was your hair combed at all?

In the first two pics it looks about 3b, in the last two it looks 4a. Not really much help, am I? :giggle:

Hey Superfly Sister,

Is that you on the album cover? WOW! PM me, I just did a video on how to determine your specific hair texture, that will probably be ready in a couple of days. If you can wait. I'll shoot you the link when it's up,

Dwayne

i ran a wide tooth comb whilst detangling with Redken smooth down detangler, have I cheated? *lol*

All help is useful I'm going to go with the majority of comments.

The avatar? Oh no, I WISH! It's the model Liya Kebede. That's me in the sig though. I'd love to watch the video Dwayne, I'm sure it would be most useful. Thank you for the offer :D

Thank you all so much for your comments even though some of you think you're no help or being random your responses still help. Your compliments are all so lovely, you made me

So it appears I'm 3c/4a fine? great!

I think you're a 4a/b. 3b is like the size of chalk (giant sidewalk chalk); water tends to stretch the length of curls.

I forgot that I read a long time ago that 3b is ringlets with the circumference of a marker. 3c is ringlets the circumference of a color pencil. 4a is an ''S'' pattern

Going by your dry pics, I'd say 4a :D

You mentioned that your hair is semi- dry with product...it can be tough to tell your type if your hair is wet and/or contains product.

However, it's lovely, and so thick!
