What you think you are AFRICAN...Your own FAM Is hating!!

I love reading this replies. It give me more strenght to continue transitioning and relief to hear that i am not the only one that went through h.e.l.l. I can do this, i can do this!!

Usually the first year is the toughest once you go through it things will go smoother eventually because youll get to know your hair better and youll have gain confidence in ur hair as you discover your hair and find out what you can do with it. Dont let others discourage you in whatever you want to achieve in life, your desires should always give you the drive to go forward. Wether its hair related or not.

I remember my mom dissing me so badly and even an aunt of mine on my dad side she told em straight up in arab ew...what is THAT hair looks like sheep fur. I wanted to give her the beat down of her life. But I straight up told her IM BLACK and I love my SHEEP hair.

That same auntie who I really love ( im being very sarcastic with the love) commented on my hair when I grew it long asking me what did I do to it??why does it curl like that and how did I maintain it? I straight up told her only SHEEP hair can do that SORRY...you shouldve seen the look on her face...PRICELESS.
