What would your regime be w/o this board's info?

Before this board my hair would still be a hot mess! I would not stretch my relaxers,I would not wash my hair as often as i do now,I would probably be using my flat iron everyday, and i would not be conditioning my hair. My hair was a disaster before discovering this board...I was wondering why it didn't grow

I'd still have a relaxer. I'd be washing my hair about 2x a week. And using Luster's Pink Moist Oil on my ends & scalp. Deep condition with CPR. I'd also be wearing my hair in a jaw clip. And blow-frying it at home & with the Dominican's.

My regime would be:

Wash and condition
Blowdry
Gel hair up into ponytail
Phony pony or track pony on top of that
Tie hair up with a cotton scarf
Relax every 4 weeks

For me it was shampoo and conditioner followed by LOTS of heat.

I'm not sure, but I'd probably be still relaxing if I hadn't found hair boards. I would have stuck with my original plan to have my mom teach me to relax my own hair (I was looking for tips when I found my first hair board)--besides that I would have continued with my same regimen I'd had forever: Wash, condition and blowdry every Saturday.
I used Pantene spray leave-in and a moisturizer every day and put my hair in a bun or ponytail. I tied my hair up at night inconsistently although my mom was always trying to remind me. Relax every 3 or 4 months. I didn't do pretreatments very often at all but I did deep condition a couple times a month. I mostly stuck with Pantene and Frizz Ease (regular line and the Relax line), venturing into other drugstore lines only every blue moon.

I didn't know that using gentler shampoos would work wonders for my hair or that just rinsing and conditioning every other day or so would eliminate my need for moisturizers. I didn't know anything about how different vitamins and nutrients affected hair--I was doing good to remember to take my Centrum multi each day. I didn't have a clue about all the great natural products like oils and such. I never used oil in my hair at all.

I am glad that through the boards I have discovered:
-JASON!! Wooo!
-Burt's Bees Avocado Butter Pre-shampoo Treatment!
-Giovanni Direct Leave-in!!! Woooo!
-Jojoba oil! (even moreso since I've added it to my skin care regimen--seriously if you haven't tried it yet, you ought to)
-Con washes!!
-The importance of vitamins and the benefits of sulfur for the hair and skin.
-How to transition successfully to having natural hair :yep:

My regime would be wash once or twice a month, no protein, no moisturizer, deep condition after washing, when not wearing a weave, and grease for the length of my hair and an oil to light grease for the scalp. I would be still practicing this faithly if I had not found hair boards.

Oh Lawd!

-I would still be relaxing, overlapping and leaving the perm on for 45 minutes.

-Washing my hair once a month - 'Dirt make ya hair grow'

-If I had braids, not washing the hair at all for up to 3 months to stretch the 'keeping them in' time.

- Greasing my scalp with vaseline

-Washing my hair with the leftover stabilizing shampoo and conditioner from the dark-n-lovely perm kit.

-Blow drying my hair with the comb attachment every morning to straighten followed by the curling iron.

-Wearing a stocking cap to bed.

I'm sure that I did more but I'm trying to block it out.
