Sigh, where to begin....
My Phony Pony Days: Wash my hair once a week or every two weeks (no Deep conditoning and I just used any ol shampoo and conditioner that was in the house).Add pink lotion and blow dry on high so it would dry faster then add more pink lotion because it would ended up feeling dry
erplexed Then "protein" gel, hair spray, and a phony pony with lots of bobby pins. I would do this so my style could last a few days so I wouldn't have to do it every morning. I would have to redo this style at least one more time during the week however. I did this for all 4 years of high school!!!
My weave days: Relax hair, apply jet black hair rinse (I have yet to find a color that matches my own so I just dye it jet black to make it easier), and sew weave in the same day, I would leave the weave in for a month without washing because I didn't want to deal with the hair tangling when wet. (It's bad enough it happens when its dry). When the hair that was left out started to grow, I would flat iron it....on high..almost everyday
!! sometimes with or with out pink lotion or Motons Hair Lotion (which wouldn't really help anyway since it has mineral oil in it) I did this for the past three years and took out my last weave last week, after being on this site. Hopefully I'll have some success stories to tell in the coming months.
I had no idea what protein was and I thought Pink Lotion was moisturizing..poor me..if only I knew...
