What type hair do I have?

This is a picture from about 4 years ago. I had micro braids for about 3 months and had just taken my hair down and washed it.
I would say 4b?

Also, when I color or highlight my hair within a week or two my black roots are already showing and about two weeks after that the color is back almost to the top of my head...Is this any indicator of how fast my hair will grow?

Its hard to tell your hair type because I can't see your roots.

I think that's a pretty good indicator.

We need a closeup of your roots with no product sweety....its best to have about 2-3 inches of new growth to really be able to tell

Heres a pic I just took of the back of my head with my cell phone.. The back was shaved low while I wore my short bob.. You can see I'm tryna cover the new growth with a headband

Can't tell too much, but going from the small pic of your new growth, it looks like 4B

4b seems to be more common but we def. need more growth and better pic for a more accurate evaluation...
