Everytime I go to stalk :sekret: I mean view somebody's fotki, the pictures are jumping all around  and I can't even leave comments. Has anyone experienced the same? This has been going on for a while! Has anyone emiled them to let them know of the problem? If you have, what was their response? Thanks!

I've noticed that too! The pages are all "jumpy". I can't look at the pics without getting a headache! I didn't even think to contact Fotki to ask what the problem was.....DUH......

I have this same problem when I try to look at someone's (anyone's) fotki I stop going because it slows my pc down but yeah it's jumping around as well

Oh, yeah. It does that to me also. I thought it was just the computer but since you all are having the same prob, I think it's something wrong with server possibly. I don't know. Just guessing.

Yeah, I thought it was my computer too, but it's happening at home, at work and I tried on my mom's computer and it did the same thing.

Same here and I just thought it was my pc. Sometimes Ill hear this dang fly or bee buzzing and it irritates the mess out of me!!

awwww.........well let's put an end to that right now crlsweetie :D

go here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

do what it says (if anything) as it's installing - if you want to import your settings from IE you can do so during the install.

after that, go back to fotki and see if things are still jumping around.

I am at work and I can't do that here. I will try it when I get home though! Thanks!

I use Explorer at work, Firefox from home. I haven't noticed the problem with Firefox either, come to think of it.:perplexed

Too bad we can't download software at work, I prefer using Firefox.

The same thing happens to me if I have my list of Favorite websites open (mine is on the left of my screen). If I close that menu, Fotki will stop jumping around. HTH!

OT:sassygurl, your hair is looking FIERCE! Congratulations!!!!!!

Although I should not have to do this to prevent the fotkis from jumping, I just maximize the page and it stops:confused:. (It still should not matter whether it is maximized or not, but this works for me).

I'm getting the jumping and the stupid wasps buzzing- i just give up

LMFAO. I hate that ad. Nothing is more annoying than when you're trying to watch a movie or tv episode on your computer and you go to a page that has this ad and it starts buzzing all loud and crap.

Are you viewing the pictures in restore down, meaning not having the full page open. Try to open the page up in full view. I was having the same probs also but I was looking at the pics in a smaller view you know the restore down button. When I opened the fotki page up in full view the pics stopped jumping.

eta: okay, I just read the entire thread so I'm no help with the advice above because someone suggested that already....sawwy

I've having this problem too and I emailed the IT a while ago, around christmas. They got back to me about a week or so later and said the problem should be fixed, they didn't explain anything  but it still does it from time to time....I gave up!

I been waited on this thread! I knew it wasn't just my computer because I would log on from different ones and it was the same ol thing.

I use firefox as well, and I don't have any problems either

there I was thinking that it was my pc the whole time... until it happened when I was using the pc here at work!! then I thought.. if it's not my pc.. then what is wrong?!:D

I have experienced the same thing but only when my screen was minimized. I had to maximize my screen to keep it from jumping all over the place;)
