WEAVE! and braids.. I have an awesome weavenista..and I just run up up to Morningside Heights and get my hair cornrowed when I'm in the mood. Love it. Both the weave nista and the braiders have quick fingers yet do not pull out the edges nor braid too tight
I would need a salon for relaxer & color. I'm not going to do anything about it though since I'm natural and I never color my own hair (I use weave for added color).
I must go to a stylist for color, trims, cuts. I don't trust my stylist to flat iron my hair. I think she will cause heat damage. Although she has never applied any heat to my natural hair (when I was natural) and I haven't let her apply heat since I am transition. To be honest I haven't been to her since I started transitioning.
I have to go to the stylist for trims/cuts and for blowdry/flat iron. I do not trust myself with a flat iron and have never really mastered it. I still get that dent every time I attempt to do it on my own .
Any chemical services(color, relaxing---I'm natural but still would have some one do it)
Trims and cuts
Weaves
A good press(I do a ok job sometimes but the lady I go to does a even better job)
Relaxer... I did self relax the last time... But I sat and thought about it this weekend and realized i probably should go to the salon for this... I don't want to start experimenting now and have a setback.. since I am not a stretcher it would be best to have a relaxer applied by someone who can fully see the back of my head to avoid overprocessing. If I stretched for three months I would do it but since Im a 7-8 week relaxer... I just need to find a stylist I can trust to not cut my hair with every relaxer and get a Splitender. So for my next relaxer...I'm going to go to one of the lhcf approved stylists.
