Surge 14 Spray
Surge Oil #9
Oshun, how much growth per month do you get using Surge? I gotta jump off the MTG wagon and I was thinkg about trying Surge as an alternative. I got an inch a month w/ MTG.

The Nutri-Ox line at Sally's.

It's supposed to be a knockoff of Nioxin but I prefer it to Nioxin ...especially since Nioxin's treatment is a liquid and Nutri-ox's is a serum. The serum stays put better and seals my cuticles.

I used the Nutri-ox line several years ago when I cut my hair and was growing it back out.

But I forgot about it.

I just started using it again about two months ago (shampoo, conditiner, protein reconstructor, and leave in scalp/hair treatment).

And I love it. I use nothing else except for some deep conditioners. I never hear ladies here talk about it though.

It keeps my hair and scalp really clean, healthy, and shiny, without heavy residue. And do I believe I see more growth with it than mtg. It's not wild growth or anything ..but I do think it helps.

I especially like that they have created the Nutri-Protect line for chemically treated hair.

I was sleeping on the following they are now staples in my regimen.
Keracare Humecto & Detangling poo in the tub-WOW I was missing out
Rivas Silicon Mix conditioner and Leave in-Slip City
BBD Stretch Creme and Keala oil-talking soft shiney silky hair and less breakage when stretching relaxer-always will be a must have product.

Suave Milk and Honey conditioner! When I first BCed two years ago, my hair didn't take well to Suave products. For some reason, their conditioners always made my hair feel crunchy or just... weird. Now, the stuff works great! I use it every day.

I would have to say the Generic Nexxus Therappee shampoo and Humectress conditioner from Sally's. They are great at detangling the hair, and the humectress is a great moisturizing leave-in for roller sets. I used to use it a couple of years ago, but stopped for whatever reason.

JASON'S Sea Kelp Conditioner! My hair was sooooooooo soft! i couldn't believe i had it sitting under the cabinet for about a year!

Sorry, I'm just now seeing this post. I used the Humecto from the tub.

Did u use the Humecto from the bottle or the tub? I've heard the bottled version is a bit watery. I've only used the thick and creamy from the tub.

I love Humecto. It's a staple.

BAck then, I used grease in my hair all my life until...

I found LHCF in 2004 and heard about how bad it was for my hair and stopped using it...

...NOW in 2006, I'm back to using grease (just once a week after washing my hair). My hair loves it! I will also be using oils again (daily or every other day).

Naturallady, I've been using it for less than a month and I'm not sure how much growth I've gotten because I never measure my hair. But I can say that I've had less shedding and breakage which will ultimately contribute to retained length and thickness.

Nexxus. I slept on this for years because my friend in undergrad used nexxus and I was like whatever. So, I join this hair board last yr and see there is a large bandwagon and gave in. It's just my luck that the product was sold as soon as I finally jump on and find a comfortable seat. sighs... I also slept on Matrix biolage a few ladies on another hair board raved about it all the time. So, I finally tried Ultra hydrating poo & balm and fell in love. And finally, I slept on sebatians potion no.9 but gave in after seeing so many raves on another hair board.

Thanks Oshun! :)

CW for sure! I was & still am amazed at the difference in my hair b/c of them.

I recently purchased a shower filter & I plan on getting another shower head this weekend. Hopefully, both will make the CW have an even better effect on my hair.

Cream of Nature Shampoo
Vo5 Conditioners
Qhemet Biologics-the whole line
Africas Best Herbal Oils

I love em all, especially QB. Wish I would have tried those sooner.

Garneir Fructis Sleek and Shine. I know that's pretty recent but I dismissed it when I first heard about it. VO5 Champagne Kiss with silk protein.

WGO. I like the thickness of the oil and oddly enough it smells alright to me.
Suave for pre-poo treatments. I mix w/somw Africa's Best oil and it works great.

All Paul Mitchell Products. I was hibernating on Paul Mitchell. Every product I have tried in thie line, I love. i.e., Super Skinny Shampoo and Conditioner, Hair Repair Treatmant and Supercharged

I bought ordered the Silicon Mix from Sickbay.biz and bought the BBD product from a local BSS that sells Blacked owned products.

Cream of nature shampoo :nono::rolleyes:

I knew my mom used to use it on me...but for some reason, maybe the first year of my hair journy or more, i didnt use it. (WWWHHHYYY?:wallbash:)

That shampoo right there has helped me out so much, everything else juse makes my hair dry and i detangle with this stuff. Saves me money man.

I slept on the Cathy Howse conditioner, Matrix Biolage Ultra-Hydrating Balm treatment, and Garnier Fructis Anti-Split Ends leave-in. All of these are the truth!:yep:

For me, I slept on Care Free Curl Gold. I thought this stuff was only for people who had jherri curls:lachen::lachen: Now that I've had a chance to try it, I'm loving it and it's a staple for me. I use it for baggying and again, I just love the stuff.

Another product I slept on was avacado butter. I had no clue as to what to do with it when I got it (I ordered it b/c I jumped on the bandwagon). I used it on my skin after getting out of the shower and it worked like a charm. I tried it on my ends a few days ago and my hair loves it!!! Definitely a keeper for me. Now if I can tone down that stinch, it smells a bit like lard:lachen:
