What is your most difficult problem and how are you going to fix it?

I have a question/problem!! Does anyone know what I can do to keep my hair from being HARD once my hair is dry after the washing process???

My ultimate problem is my hairline and temples. They are entirely too thin.

I have the same problem I'll check the thicken hairline challenge to find some ideas, I have yet decided to not brush my hairline anymore while detangling my hair during conditionning wash!

1. I get so many knots and tangles when I wear my hair out. Solution is more protective styles. I got kinky twists in now.
2. My hair line and nape area is thinner than I'd like from getting years of relaxers and it being left in too long. Solution --I've been doing more hot oil treatments, deep conditioning weekly and massaging nightly with oils. So far I see some new hairs popping up around the hair line. Let hope it continue.

I am having a major problem with breakage,I mean hair is everywhere. I can make a mohair sweater with all my broken off hair. Just recently I started using Fantasia IC PM Night Time Oil Treatment, anyone heard of it?
I haven't been consistent with my MTGing & WGHO. I TRIED my best to stretch for 4 months but my hair was breaking too much so I shortened it to 2 months.
Another problem I HAD was blowdrying and flat ironing. I hate sitting under the dryer, I can't do the airdry thing and for some reason I just can't fix my hair without flat ironing. Now I wrap my hair at nite so that I don't have to stick the iron in it in the morning and I TRY to sit under the hair dryer as long as I can stand it.

Any suggestions, advice, criticism? HELP ME

My edges are horrendous! I have had this problem for years, and I just can't seem to get it to grow back. I am now using MTG 3x a week, ORS serum and Rosemary Oil daily, and giving them TLC. I may add black castor oil to the mix as well.

My biggest problem is thin ends... well actually it's not trimming thin ends. My mind says, leave them they will eventually level off. My instinct says cut 'em. Cut 'em all!!!

I'm trying very hard to leave them until Dec 24, 2006. Then cut only 1 inch instead of the two I want to cut.

My main problem is that my hair is too thin for my liking. I need to thicken up my strands! I'm a newbie (September), so I'm still seeking answers. Right now, I'm 7 weeks post relaxer so far, so good. I'm using Surge and WGO daily, Mizani Nite treatment every 3rd day, baggying when possible, and finally have begun washing, conditioning, rollersetting, etc on my own. I have started taking multivitamins, UltraNourishHair, MSM, and Flaxseed oil. I'm planning to be patient and consistent in order to see results. Any suggestions is of course welcomed.:)

Lay off of the heat!

Plus, I think you need a little Profectiv in your life. Let me know if you wanna hear my schtick. lol

My problem is split ends and detangling.

I use elucence MB and it detangles well but I dont feel like its the BEST detangler out there (suggestions welcomed). My ends have been better than in the past but I just got a trim and my stylist said "your ends are a little tired hun?" They were and I knew it. I gotta get into bunning I guess but I'm just not feeling it

I am looking for a good detangler too. Some ladies here use paul mitchell detangler. Look at the thread I started about how to stretch. Alot of ladies listed the detanglers they like.

Problem 1- Not retaining and length/ split ends: I've started baggying and wearing a folded under ponytail.

Problem 2- Hair's looking thin: My natural hair is extremely thick, so I know it shouldn't be as thin as it is now. I've already switched relaxers from Affirm no lye to ORS Sensitive Scalp. I use Surge mixed with Castor oil when I have alot of new growth. MTG when in braids. I also plan on taking Biotin and Nioxin Recharging Complex.

I really liked that Fantasia IC product when I used to use it, I should revisit it. Have you tried the ponytail method way of airdrying? It works well for me. The ponytail rollerset might work for you as well. Blow drying on cool might work also when the hair's still damp in the morning.

This is the story of my life right here.

I checked the website and its not there. I did see however, a detangling conditioner called Knot Forgotten detangling conditioner. This sounds promising. Maybe I will have to be the guinea pig.

AFAIK, this is the same product with a different name. I used to use Slip Detangler back in the day and loved that stuff. It is now called "Knot Forgotten".

my problem is length. I want my hair to grow to BSL.
I'm doing the crown and glory for two year to make it to BSL.

My biggest problem is my hair growing much longer on the right side. This makes me so heated! I'm determined to fix this problem by babying my ends, moisturizing daily, reducing heat and manipulation. I will continue to wash bi-weekly and keep ends trimmed as needed.....I will be watching those succers like a hawk!! Just call me hawkeye....hee hee.

Also my nape is much shorter than the rest of my hair so I will be doing the same to this area. I really need to learn how to rollerset my own hair too.

I don't have enough hair for a ponytail. My hair is right under my ears.

My problem is my sides grow longer than the back. I have no idea of how to go about correcting the problem. At first I thought I was having this problem because I was sleeping on my back, but then I remembered I don't sleep on my back.

Another problem I have is tangles my hair gets thick and spongy after I wash it and it is hard to get through. I've been going through a shedding phase lately so it's gotten a little easier to manage, but still hard to comb. Someone in another thread suggested using NTM, it worked well for a week then left my hair dry and brittle.

Suggestions welcome. PM if you like.
