Why is 1 or 2 lumped together? I can understand saying type 1 without doing a,b and c... but aren't there a good amount of type 2a, 2b and 2c's here?

I got into an argument over my hair type before with some chick that accused me of wanting to be 3c...she told me I was wrong for classifying my hair since I wasn't natural...and I wouldn't know my hair type until then. She was one of those militant naturals who belongs in the "No such thing as healthy relaxed hair " thread-one who takes pride at persecuting all the "permies." :flyingwit {rolls eyes} So now I go by the words of Ms. Counselor in regards to my hair type, "I have hair. The type is subjective."

Hair texture is made up of: napps, spirals, frizz, coils.

Hair type: mostly 4a, followed by 4b and a little of something else probably not worth mentioning cause I don't know the type.

Hair type: O, S on the LOIS system. Spongy. Not sure if it's medium, fine or thick.

No, girl this was someone from BlackHairMedia.com, who e-mailed me with that. I don't believe she is a member here, but who knows. It all started when I made the comment that there IS such a thing as healthy relaxed hair on that forum, and she e-mailed me to basically say I was surely mistaken, that its impossible for relaxed hair to be healthy. Then she went on ranting about my hair type and how do I know what the type is, etc etc. Poor child. She had nothing better to do besides E-Mail me with a whole 2 paragraphs of tired drama.

Natural head like that scare the hellout of me. She doesn't do ur hair, so she won't know what ur hair is like.

wow this is the most accurate hair type thing i've found... according to this, i am 3c, pencil-sized, the sides seem to be 3b though

I think 3c/4a with a few strands of 3b. Could be wrong though.

Don't really like the number and letter typing thing, so I'll just say that I'm a wavy,curly, corkscrewy, thick and frizzy type. My waves/curls/corkscrews are looser in the front than they are in the back.
