Mine:

Moisturize scalp every day.

Surge everyday.

MTG once a week. (on a sunday)

For the first half of the year (Jan. - April) I will wear cornrows.

Leave hair out for three weeks. (bun of course)

Then braid up again until end of June.

Then see if I am armpit length. If not, I repeat these steps again!

* Surge everyday
*Moisturize 2x day
*DC after shampoo, once a week
*Continue with no brushing
*Continue with no heat (except hood)
*Keep nurturing my ends, nape, and edges
*Increase water intake
*Take vitamins/supplements every day
*Continue with co-washes
*Overcome my fear of using henna or cassia and just do it
*Stop messing in my hair

Baggie for the entire year!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in nursing school so it's the easiest style for me. I better be at waist length by the end of the year.

To stay consistent with my regimine.. which is

-wash/dc every 3-4 days.
-moisturize daily.
-keep stretching my relaxers to 3 months.
-not be too overly concerned if my hair doesn't grow as fast as others..for I know that my hair is still growing and to be grateful for that:p !

and finally.. to stick with products that work for me..**must get rid of the pj in me**(I am way too obsessed with shampoos!)

Modified:

Protective Styling: Weaves, braids, falls and buns.
Frequent Moisturizing/Steam Treatments
Consistency with Vitamins
Using Boundless Tresses daily/every other day

And of course...henna treatments!

-CWing every 2-3 days
-no pooing(except after relaxers)
-bunning EVERYDAY(except May-Oct. I may wear my hair down once a week)
-wearing a silk scarf under my hats/hoods EVERYDAY until it warms up outside. I even wear it like the Muslim women do sometimes.

My main goal is to K.I.S.S. I'm at the point where I'm figuring out what products my hair likes and needs. So, I need to continue to:

*Eliminate unnecessary products from regimen
*Continue with healthy diet, exercise, and vitamins
*Rollerset more often
*Incorporate pre-poos
*Henna
*Don't obsess over it!!!

Use less weaves (ponytails are the only ones i use anyway). I've learned to roller set my hair whether is dry or wet. I plan to wear my hair down more often. If I want to use a protective style I'll just braid my hair for a while. I really want my hair to be healthy. :p

For me, it's basically the basics.
- Wash at least once a week (lately, been doing it twice. it softens my new growth a lot)
- deep condition at least one of those times i wash
-moisturize at least once a day, 2x if i have time
-mtg at least 2Xs a week at night (usually when i wash)
-surge and WGHO every morning and some nights when i don't MTG
-scalp massages when i aply oils
-exercise at least 3Xs a week (on the slim in 6 plan and i have to do it 6 days a week)
-henna monthly
- protein treatment when needed
-MOISTURE MOISTURE MOISTURE ( my hair is like the Sahara desert)
-relax every 8-9 weeks (still learning how to stretch)
-castor oil on my edges cause they thinning out
- protective styling most of the time ( i wanna enjoy my length sometime but when i get home, i tie it up with a satin scarf
-eat healthy and get my required protein for the day
-add hot oil treatments every so often cause i really need moisture

Wow, i guess it's not so basic :D ...i need to shorten this list quite a bit cause i hardly have time. I'm trying to simplify it though.

No heat AT ALL this year. I plan to wear my hair in braids (my own hair or extensions) for majority of the year. My hair is brastrap stretched. I wanna see if it gets to midback stretched.

*crossing fingers*

I am planning to loc my hair. I plan to only use natural shampoos and minimum maintenance products. That is it. Keeping it real simple.

1) No combing
2) Taking vitamins
3) Drinking 2L water
4) working out
5) scalp massage with oil every night
6) Braids to protect my hair
7) When it's loose: moisturize, moisturize, moisturize

I am also planning to wear my hair in braids for another whole year, I allready did it during a year and a half and it did grow a lot. I started with 1 inch and it's almost 9 inches now. My goal is 14 or 15 inches.

Ooh I like this thread!!! So many good ideas!

1. Trims only with each perm (I'm getting better at this!)
2. Protective styles when my hair is not "done"
3. Regular protein treatments (bi weekly)
4. I want less stress on my hair. I need styles that don't requre a pony tail.
5. Work on that spot that keeps breaking off.
6. Maintain my ends
7. KISS (I'm an expert!)

CW once per week.
Deep condition once per week.
Use products I have and stop being a pj.
Moisturize twice daily.
Bunnin’ and baggin’
Relax at 8 weeks
Drink more water daily!!!!!!!
Learn to twist and keep hair braided all summer.

Keep it simple.:p

I'm on the college guy routine for 2007. Basically that means I do nothing to my hair besides wash it, "grease it," twist/braid it up, and cover it up at night. I'm on the LHCF bootcamp challenge because it fits perfectly with this routine. Personally, I think less is more and my hair likes to be left alone. I will continue to deep condition with every shampoo (approximately once per month). Hair health is more important than length so I will use my bootcamp pass to trim when necessary. So far, so good.

1. Crown and Glory 2 months at a time (if I cant stand it)
2. Stop being a PJ
3. Trim every 3 months for transitioning.
4. Use MTG for 6 months (or however long it keeps working)
5. Work out more often
6. Keep my ends protected and moisturized.
7. Pre-Shampoo and CW
8. Wash my hair in braids
9. Work on these thinning edges
10. Deep condition

Hi,

My Plan:
1.) No trimming
2.) Shampoo and condition once a week
3.) Protein condition once every two weeks
4.) Oil scalp and hair with palmers extra virgin olive oil
5.) roller set until hair is long enough for a bun
6.) satin bonnet a wrap while sleeping
7.) relax every two months
8.) be as low maintanence as possible with hair to prevent breakage
9.) eat healthier while drinking plenty water
10.) keep heat to a bare minimum (once a wk) if any

1. 2007 bootcamp (low manipulations, water, vitamins)
2. Washing and deep conditioning 1-2x a week (my hair hell hates co-washing)
3. Leaving it alone. (part down the middle, doused with S-curl, covered with castor oil, and plaited)
4. Baggying with a "my lil pony" when I go out.
5. Two dustings/trims a year at the 6 and 12 month period if I deem it neccessary.
