So...I'm finally krunk to find a hair message board that I can stay consistent with. Especially since I've finally made a decision to just grow out this hair.

I've done the natural and I'm currently sporting a mildly relaxed and healthy bob. I'm excited about keeping it trimmed while still letting it grow.

So....any tips? I know I could just search the other posts (which I will do), but it'll be nice to hear some upfront responses right here.

One main thing that I'm concerned about is extending my teflon (sp?) phase. I know I can grow hair and I'm trying not to fixate so much on it's rate. But rather, I need to know how to get my personal maximum lenghth....

I know there are a TON of posts, but skim thought them, and you'll find TONS of great information.

Have fun here.

Nothing to say right now except for welcome & love the name!!! Funny. It reminds me of the guidance counselor on South Park. Just read the previous posts, I'm sure it will spark some questions. When it does, just post 'em!

wanted to say welcome to the board.

Welcome! My only tip is to keep your hair moisturized...even when wearing it straight I shampoo at least twice a week. When I wear it curly(no setting) then it's every other day. I notice no matter how I style my hair if I go too long without shampooing my ends start to break.
