*going natural*
where 2 begin:
*shears (up on the shelf they go)
putting up the poo (down 2 once wk)
giving up GREASE adding
moisture
protein
cow
dc'n...b/c i fell off for 3 1/2yrs
oils...natural
butters
buying a satin pillowcase
lable reading
and now, having someone to talk to about hair and nothing but hair...Thank You God!
In 2005, found this site and started devouring it; started reading labels and buying products with hair-friendly ingredients. In 2006, started getting moisture into my hair by applying when it was wet, then sealing. In 2007, started CO washing daily. In 2008, started using food grade aloe vera daily on my hair and scalp. If threatened to edit this down to one thing, then it would be the aloe vera. The question is ....that you learned on LHCF....and I stopped getting relaxers two years before I found LHCF. However, the single best thing overall/ever was stopped relaxing.
I used to blowdry and flat iron weekly....Rollersetting has allowed me to keep more hair on my head and it gaves me waaaaaaay more body...I have fine hair so this has been hair saver!
I can only imagine where my hair would be if I had started Rollersetting years ago
Definitely co-washing/washing more frequently. I joined in April, and from April to now, my hair has grown much faster than it normally does. I attest this to having a clean scalp.
Im sorry I have three: No heat, Stretching my relaxers and moisturizing.
I can see the difference now. I still have some pre LHCF ends (Im tempted to chop off) and My LHCF Hair nice and thick and dark its visible.
The single best thing I've done for my hair is weekly washing! I never used to wash my hair every week for some strange reason......also learning how to read ingredients, and protein/moisture balance.
