It is just above where your legs and bum meet. Tailbone length is just what it sounds like; exactly where the tailbone stops (not to get all personal, but the little bit of "bum cleavage" area). Butt length hair is about 2-7 inches longer than tailbone length depending on where on the butt it stops. Also, tailbone length is about 4-5 inches longer than waistlength.
