Do you wear your hair out underneath or tuck it up inside? Also, what are some good (reputable) places to get them? And how do you get your hair color and texture to match exactly? Do you get them trimmed and or styled to match your own hair?

Is it considered a protective style?

Arrrgh....Someone please post a tutorial on them.

TY!

Fall, half wig, 3/4 wig, instant weave, quick weave... they're all the same thing. Yes it's a protective style. You can leave hair out in the front for blending and tuck the rest of your hair up under the wig. Some people just pull their hair back and tuck it under at the nape. Some people cornrow their hair underneath. You would just have to try some on to find which ones match your hair. You can cut or trim them if you would like. I know Carrie used to trim hers. And I know KiniKakes cut some rows out of hers. The same fall she had was my usual a few years ago but I wore it straight out the pacl. I usually buy synthetic ones from the BSS for $19.99. Wear them for a month or so and throw them out. I've tried human hair ones before but they got that weave poof after a while so the synthetic ones were more practical for me since I was wearing them everyday. I like to change my styles up pretty frequently. Some sites to check out are sensationnel.com (Instant Weaves), outrehair.com (Quick Weave), and hairsisters.com sells a variety of them. The Sensationnel ones were my favorite. Their combs were the most secure. And I had no problems blending my relaxed hair with the hair on the falls (human and synthetic). Now that I'm natural I usually wear a scarf around the front and gel my edges down. HTH...

DITTO WHAT SHE SAID. YOU CAN PM KINICAKES FOR HER PASSWORD TO GET GOOD LOOK AT HER FALL STYLES. THEY ARE AN AWESOME WAY OF HAVING NATURAL LOOKING HAIR WHILE PROTECTING THE HAIR AT THE SAME TIME.
