What is a conditioner wash and how do i use scurl?

I think i am going to start doing conditioner washes and I was wondering what exctly do you do? Do you just skip shampoo or is it more complicated than that?

Also I have heard some wonderful things about scurl so I was wondering how do I use it? only on wet hair? I think Adrienne is the expert on this product so your advice will be appreciated! Thanks!

since my hair is very dry i use the no poo method too and i do this by skipin the shampoo sometimes and using a cheap conditioner instead and have noticed that it leaves my hair really moisturised

luvhair, you can the S-Curl a couple of ways. first, on wet hair before putting it into a bun. it keeps it moisturized and also softens new growth. you can also use it on wet hair before blow drying. i've done that twice now with good results. because it has a watery consistency, i think it would ruin a down style if used once the hair is dried.

I just "shampoo" with conditioner instead of real shampoo. I leave it on while I shower, comb through my hair and rinse. I use S-Curl and gel to slick my hair back into a bun.
