Calling all hair lovers!I read a link someone posted about protecting your hair during the winter (thanks to that person) & Nick Chavez says for AAs, hair is prone to dryness and breakage during the winter b/c the harsh weather soaks up all the moisture from our hair. So Mr. Chavez would have us use humectant products (not only will it stop moisture from leaving but attract moisture to our hair) and products with Essential Fatty Acids (i found safflower oil as an example of an EFA)
My dominican stylist told me Nexxus Humectin is a good winter product. HAS ANYONE TRIED THIS? WHAT RESULTS?
What humectant & EFA will you be using this winter???
