For me I will never wear any style that gets super hard and if I tried to touch it, it might break off

Hey there ms_kenesha

.

I would never wear the mullett. Black women made it so popular in the 80's and I had a fierce one.

Natural hair: dreads, cornrows, twists, knots, etc.; hair plastered to my scalp with a lot of product; dirty hair; a style unbecoming to my face and hair type.

I will never colour my hair, never get a jheri curl(again),never get a weave whether sew in or glued

A "shag" where the hair is real short in the front and has a long "tail" in the back... oh, is that what they call a "mullet"?? Anyway, yeah, that!!

I actually had a bf once who said he thought bald was sexy on a woman and asked me to shave my head for him!!

So no, I'd never be bald as a style, even if it became popular.

Tiny microbraids....they've only damaged my hair!
Tight cornrows or flat twists that pull on the front hair line

Hair glue? Never again!

At this point I wouldn't consider coloring my hair, glueing or sewing in a weave, or braiding it in individual microbraids.

I agree with all that said never glueing in any hair I can attest that it will thin the mess out of your hair, it happened to my mommy

why do you say you wouldn't get individuals?

Lindy,

I swear I just saw someone with this hairstyle this weekend.
I mean yes it was cute in the early nineties. I think alot of people with this cut can't bear the thought of cutting their back length off to update the look. There was a girl in college with me who thank goodness grew the top portion to within bob length then cut the rest even.

I will not wear shellacked hairstlyes of any kind or hair color that does not appear in nature (blue, fuschia, etc).

same here. i live in south ga so unfortunately that is a HUGE trend for girls at my school. (think foot high hairstyles in blue, orange, yellow, purple, BRIGHT red.. basically any weird color you can think of for hair)

Just personal preference. They're an expensive tedious hassle to braid in and remove. The added hair is heavy. If left in too long, the hair locs. If braided in too tight, the follicles are damaged.

I wore latch hook (crocheted) braids for a long while to avoid some of the woes of individual microbraids. Plus, I could latch in the extensions for free on my own after the stylist cornrowed my hair down...

I live in the durty too. One style I cannot get down with is the Halle Berry cut(real short) with a long weave purple pony tail coming out from the side.

I will also never do the gel on scalp thing. I see so many girls gel every hair strand to their scalp.

Also, putting objects in their hair like toys, birds, flowers. It is like a hair show everyday!

The long mermaid weave.(The classic sea biscuit look is out)

crochet braids (need I say more)

The rainbow weaves. Now you ladies in the South know what I mean. How many of you have seen three to four differnt color weaves just to match an outfit?
