Or most confident? I was just wondering, b/c I know for me, whether or not I feel pretty has everything to do with whether or not I'm feeling my hair! This past weekend I went out with my girlfriends, and I wore my hair in this really big curly fro! I had already let my hair air dry, then I spiralled the ends with a 1/2 inch curling iron. It was wild and crazy and big and bouncy and just gorgeous!!! You know how you just stumble on a style without trying? Guys wear like whoa

, and even white girls were stopping me in the street to compliment my hair! I realized that I really do like big bouncy curls, they look best on my hair, and they make me look very nice. What about you ladies? How do you wear your hair your hair when you want to look come hither??? LOL

Big loose curls or waves from a rollerset. I definitely think I look better with textured "big hair"

than with straight hair. My relaxer is about to get kicked to the curb.

I love my hair the most when it air dryed then put into bantu knots. When I take them down I have gorgeous waves and volume for days. I tease it a little so I have sort of a wild look

After rollersetting my hair, and using the ready to use lottabody setting lotion

My hair is just thick, shiny and CURLY. I feel like a queen

OR when i rock the straw set. Heck anything curly makes me feel like the most beautifullest thing in this world

That style sounds really cool, Ayanna!!

I wish you had taken some pictures!!

I don't think there's any particular style that makes me feel the most beautiful... I think it's just whenever I'm having a "good hair day" and my hair is looking shiny, bouncy and healthy!!
smile.gif
It doesn't really matter what style... It could be curly, straight, or in an updo or twist-out!!

I love 'em all!!!!

I love my hair when I use a three-barrel iron. The waves get the most attention! Unfortunately, it's also damaging so I stay away! LOL.

I love my hair when I rock my Farrach Fawcett style: split down the middle and feathered back on the front sides. With my highlights in the front, it looks so pretty (to me anyway...

CaramelHonee-

I know it's hard to do, but what type hair do you think you have? To me, you look like you could be in the 2's...

I'm confused

i initially thought i was a 2b/c but my dear sweet mother said 'um NOOOO, u aint no damn 2'
laugh.gif

so alas, i am confused.

I love my hair when I flat iron it and then add a moisturizer (usually CDHHB) and put it in a classic bun. The next day when I take it down, my hair looks like Veronica Lake's, with soft body waves.

Re: What hair style makes you feel the most beauti

A braid-out, a nice spiral set, but honestly most of all, I feel most confident and sassy with a short cut that's heavily layere!

u know what, i just rechecked and im a 2B/C... dang what my momma said
grin.gif
i hope she don't c this

i think b/c my hair doesn't resemble ananda's b/c her waves r thicker then mine, that is where the confusion lies.

loose bouncy curls after a fresh rollerset is my "come hither" style, but i love having braids in the front and my hair out in the back.

Hmmm... I think your mother is wrong (shh! don't tell her I said it

). You def look like a 2b/c to me.
Not that it matters... I was just curious. That's all.

I like mine best when its in a curly rollerset and the front is either slicked down with a side part or flat twists.

Ooh, cute styles!!! We should all do our hair and go out together! ::::Ayana dancing and singing in her office:::: "Oh this is ladies night..." LOL

Honestly? Right now, I feel my best when I wash my hair, towel-dry it, put my usual products in it (Protectiv Long 'N Healthy, African Essence Crystal Drops) and slap a headband on it. That's it. Seriously, I've gotten a lot of compliments on this non-style ranging from the simple ("Your hair looks so cute!") to the amusing ("I was just admiring your hair.... What do you put in it?" She seemed to be expecting a perm or texturizer brand. I hated disappointing her) to the somewhat creepy (i.e. some white dude staring at me like I was a piece of real chocolate cake at a Weight Watchers meeting -- and his wife was right next to him!). Interestingly enough, my hair never got this much attention while I was perming it. Even worse, I spent a lot more time trying to style it then.

I think loose updos with a few length strands hanging down make me feel most beautiful.
