Oh lawd, forgive me but she gets like a C plus.erplexed Lemme explain
When I was younger my hair was natural and she treated it well from what I can remember. I had twists and BIG ol afro puffs.
BUT she relaxed my hair at 7....and continued to do so after my edges began thinning.
(But she was great at doing some shirley temple curls for church! )
As I got older my hair began falling out and my mother had to cut it all off. She felt bad about this, she later told me she cried and cried. But she was the one who nursed my hair back to a healthy permed state, so she gets kudos for that.
But as I'm writing this I feel bad so I change my mind and give her an A for being an all around great mom
Well before I got my first relaxer, I'd give her a 5 out of 5. After she let ppl pressure her into relaxing my hair in 5th grade, she didn't know what to do with it. So post-relaxer grade is a 3.75.
Thanks, Vainjane. She was awesome with a hot comb, hot curlers, and some blue magic! The stuff we swear off now had our hair creeping down our backs.
The other two girls are my cousins, and every Saturday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. my mother would be pressing us for church. Those were the days. I miss living with my stylist...
