What exactly is arguing?

He seems to think that heated discussions where we are mad or using elevated voices is not arguing. I am the opposite. Based on how I was raised and the things I've experienced I realize I could be a little more sensitive in that regard than the next person. So I ask, what to you is arguing?

Elevated voices is disrespectful from both parties in my opinion. I would walk away & come back to the subj when both parties are calm. Or keep quiet while he's arguing until he realizes he is the only one being loud. That usually works. LOL

Yes girl. Same guy. He thinks heated discussions are just that heated discussions. He doesn't think the tiffs we have are real arguments.
