What does it mean when your hair can hold a curl or curl at all?

I tried curling my hair this morning after washing it and air drying it the day before. I tried to use the curling iron and my flat iron but my hair said 'not going to happen'. What's wrong with my hair?

Nothing is "Wrong" with your hair, Sweetie. Sounds like your tresses maybe a little on the fine side or just too soft.

and plus, humidity maybe the culprit........zapping all the "hold" out of your nice curls!

Thanks! If there was an wipe your brow icon I'd use it. After I washed and let my hair air dry I put some stay so fro and UBH moisturizer on it and wrapped in a satin scarf. I had nice texture and all but my hair just wouldn't curl. It's also hot as h@# today.
