What Do You Like About Your Hair?

another thing, my hair has a natural almost jet black color i love. which is just as well cos i HATE the idea of dyeing my hair! /images/graemlins/cool.gif

What I now like about my hair is that I have learned how to moisturize and care for it. I no longer have to wear weaves, braids or hair pieces. With the help of reading books and people on Longhaircareforum, I have learned so many helpful tips. This is great and all of you giving advice and helping others is great. Good helpful comraderie between women sharing success stories, secrets, exposing myths and hair achievements is great!

I'm glad you started this thread. I love how soft my hair feels. I love how healthy it is now. I love how thick my hair is now. My uncle said my hair looked like a wig and that it looked nice. I love that people are noticing my hair growth even when I don't see it. I love not being dependent on hair stylists. I love this board because I can now get answers to my questions. Instead of made up responses.

I know what you mean i love my hair and how i take pride and make that extra time for me and my hair, the way it looks people always thick i wear a weave but i take it as a compliment. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Nappi,

Everyone's hair grows! Some slower than others. You may not be RETAINING the growth you desire. And if that is the case, pay close attention to the long haired woman on this board and their regimes/tips. In no time, your hair will be long and healthy too.

I love that I have thick hair! Though it challenges me sometimes, I can always count on the fact that my hair is always full and completely covers my misshapen head!

I hear that! I'll be 48 years old on February 10th and I have yet the need to dye my hair. People swear I'm lying but I'm not. I love my natural color..but I'll admit I'm not looking forward to the day the gray(I have 1 or 2 strands I pull out..he he... /images/graemlins/look.gif) starts coming in. But right now I'm enjoying my 'naturally black color'.
