U: Thank you, but anybody who gives there hair a little TLC can have good hair. You know healthy hair girl......

I have had people say that to me and it is irritating. I have had conversations that go:

them: You really have good hair.
me: Good, what is good hair?
them: (looking perplexed), You know, it's curly, wavy, not kinky.
me: Oh, well I always consider "good" hair to be healthy, well cared for hair, regardless of the texture.
them: true, true (dear in headlights look)
