What are YOUR hair recovery shortcuts

On the days when you wake up and your hair just isn't doing what it's suppose to do. Are you ever determined to fix it quickly to get it where you want it rather than doing the "Imma bun/ponytail and get out the door because this hair is acting crazy'

Or just fixing it in a watered down version rater than going full out. One quick flat iron pass after air/blow dry rather than pressing the whole head

My hair is underprocessed in the center. Roots straight, kinky/wavy shaft and previously relaxed ends. So I'm protecting and moisturizing it more than ever battling with 3 textures.

Last night I washed and air dried with a scarf and lightly bunned it with a hair clamp and tonight I did my roller set. The short cut was just damping my fingers in the setting lotion and quick passes on the hair and 30 mins under the dryer.
It was about 15 minutes to roll dry hair and it came out so smooth :yep:

When my hair isn't acting right it's usually dry and dull so I just moisturize and detangle. Sometimes that is enough to get it to look good again. Other times I do a quick rollerset with flexirods

Most times I can avoid the pony/bun/puff route by running my wet hands over my hair. I normally do this just enough to dampen it then I add some leave in, oil, maybe a styler and shake a few times. This normally fixes any hair issue I'm having.
