Inconsistency - This has been difficult, but Im working on it and getting better.
Braid/Twistout styles - My hair hates this. No matter what I do all I get is FRIZZ!
Flat Ironing - Absolutely no heat for the entire year!
Forgetting protein treatments! - I have come to realize that my hair loves protein and does best when I do a hardcore treatment every 3-4 months.

I am leaving all heat and chemicals in any form in 2012. Going back 100% natchul lol. The only things coming into 2013 with me are my vitamins, conditioner, shea moisture and eco-gel. :)

1.Wearing my hair in styles that don't make me feel (or look) my best for the sake of protective styling and achieving more growth.

2.Spending hours styling my hair. Rediscovered the blow dryer. I spend about an hour and 15 minutes flat ironing and blow drying. When I diffuse, it takes 15 minutes. I don't do anything now that requires more than an hour and half of my time.

-using regular conditioner as a leave-in, using heavy butters and oils because they weight down my hair too much
-using ayurvedic pastes and masks because I end up manipulating my hair too much just to try to fit them into my reggie
-trying to rollerset because I suck at it
-sitting under the dryer to dry my hair because it's unnecessay and I'm too impatient
-pre-pooing because I have to shampoo my hair twice to get it as clean as I want it
-oiling my scalp because I always end up with acne on my face
-flat-ironing, atleast for a year
-manipulating my hair more than once a week
-trying different products because the ones I use now work and I wanna stick to the same reggie for a while

Steaming my hair...it burns my scalp...not worth the headaches.

- not letting my hair dictate what it needs. The only thing I will do consistently is co-wash/wash and deep condition 1x a week. For everything else, I will respond as my hair dictates.

- wasting time trying to create a rigid regimen. I am over it.
