What are you doing Feb 14th?

Thanks for the responses ladies. I don't know what I'm doing either. Right now I'm just dating and I imagine that I won't have solid plans for a few days. I only have a few friends that are single. I may ask them if they want to do dinner and desert. I really like to idea of getting dressed up and hanging out.

Probably go to a bar with a girlfriend and feel sorry for ourselves.. Maybe eat an I oversized chocolate bar...

Seeing if I can get overtime to make dat money, oh yeah. Otherwise, resting from having worked 11p-7a the night before so I can go in on the 15th and MAKE dat MONEY, oh yeah.

I have class that evening. Although there is a really cute guy I caught checkin me out in my class so I guess I have a good reason to go!

I have class that late afternoon, a club meeting, and a meeting with the gym. That's all I got planned for now.

Working and going home no SO or DH so no need to celebrate a hallmark holiday geared towards couples..now if Im selected for companionship one of these days I will milk it to the max with a expensive dinner nice hotel and a nice cardio workout..
Yup. I hate going out with friends and not a boyfriend. lol. I won't be drinking though because I have work the next day. I will try to not wear black.

Doing a presentation in my advanced French grammar class on Alexandre Dumas. But I think I'll bring VD cupcakes or cookies for the class. :yep:

Dh and I are celebrating the Saturday before: going to a party with dinner and dancing, staying overnight @ a nice hotel. I have a pretty new dress that I can't wait to wear. You ladies make me feel so blessed. You remind me not to take dh for granted. I've had him in my life since I was 18 and we have always celebrated Valentine's day. For those of you who would love to celebrate valentine's day, I hope you get your wish sooner than later. :rosebud:

no plans for that night, but really want to treat myself to a professional massage (my first) that weekend :)

trying to decide... hot stone, deep tissue (really need it but don't want to feel too much pain during the massage lol), or relaxation massage (concerned that this won't work out my knots enough). Maybe I'll ask LHCF members what they think... hm

I vote for deep tissue.

After my first deep tissue massage, when all of the knots were worked out, you couldn't tell me nothing!

Thinking positive. I will have a nice date this year. Eh if i don't i think i will just go out to eat with some friends.

Agreed.

But if not, 2/13 I will be going to a concert to see David Garrett. GORGEOUS!!

Other than that, I may think about how I want to celebrate it.

The day at the museum, lunch at a hole in the wall and dinner at a really nice restaurant. Well, this will be the weekend before since we live 5 hours apart.

I have to work on 2/14.

But I'm off sat/sun before so we will do our date thing then. Nothing specific though. I'm not a v-day fan he knows not to make a fuss.

We're staying in a Manhattan hotel on Saturday night, then going to Atlantic City on Sunday and won't be back home until Tuesday afternoon. He's doing so much and getting me something nice on top of all that but I have no idea what. And I haven't gotten him anything yet, I don't know what to get!!! :pullhair:

Last year I made him dinner and home made chocolate truffles. He got me this awesome X-men sweatshirt that I love. (I collect comic books.) This year he's taking me on a trip and buying me a present and I am totally stumped as to what I can give him that would match up to that! Looks like it'll be another video game :perplexed

My SO is coming up to visit for the weekend. My bday is actually on the 14th, so I'll be able to at least spend that morning with him.
