What are you doing Feb 14th?

I'm just curious. I've only "celebrated" this day on a few occasions. I'd like to hear what folks plan/hope to do.

(single, dating, committed, leaving)

Sadly, Ive never celebrated Vday with a S/O. I doubt that will change this year, but last year my girl and I treated ourselves to an elaborate meal, bottles of wine, and decadent red velvet cheesecake!! We had an absolute blast and I doubt I wouldve had as much fun if I hadve been with a dude...ok maybe Im reaching, but if you cant love the one u want, love the one ur with!

Just because u dont have an S/O doesnt mean u cant still enjoy the holiday :)

Thinking positive. I will have a nice date this year. Eh if i don't i think i will just go out to eat with some friends.

My classes start that day and I'll probably have the late shift after so...I wanted to go to the movies but I don't know, we'll see. I'm single btw.

i have an SO but we will probably be celebrating that Saturday because we both have busy mondays...i want to go to the zoo :look: but he said it's closed during the winter so we are going to take pictures and have a simple date...i had my heart set on the zoo  he just wants a gift he will NOT get [an airsoft gun smh]

Well our anniversary is the 19th, so we will be celebrating both occasion then. He is planning it, so I'm hoping its going to be something good. :)

No clue...First Valentines alone in 3 years. I will probably have a nice dinner alone, hit up the Redbox.. Although I am actively "dating" nothing has reached a serious enough status to exchange gifts and have a more intimate evening.

Packing and starting move ( across town, not to Houston like we hoped, but we are very excited!)

Nothing! >.<

I work, but once I get off work I will probably just chill in my dorm like most other evenings after work. How depressing, lol. -___________-'

I have never celebrated Valentine's Day and since I've been with SO we've agreed against it. There are plenty other days where I could express my love to you and I don't need capitalism to force me to do it.

I have a Skype date with this guy I'm seeing  We're both in school in different locations (3 hours away) so we won't be able to see each other in person. I may cook myself a nice dinner and rent a movie, too :) Oh yea, I'll probably do some schoolwork, too :(

I am planning on doing dinner with a few of my other single girlfriends. No need to sit around and be sad. I want to do my make up, put on a dress and have dinner and some wine.

I'm a huge V-day fan, actually it's my favorite holiday!!

My V-days are always good no matter my relationship stance so I'm hoping for a great one this year as well. No clue as to what I'm doing tho' :look:

My fiance and I decided not to celebrate it b/c we are saving for our wedding and don't need to spend unecessarily right now. That said, I've spent lots of Valentine's Days with ex-boyfriends but one of my best V-Day memories was when my best friend and I went to a dinner/concert that was actually marketed for couples. But the concert was one of my favorite artists, and I dragged her along - we had an awesome dinner and saw a great show. It was a wonderful night!

I dont have anything planned besides avoiding the couples dinner dance at the church. Maybe I will treat myself to dinner and wine. Put on a nice dress and make myself look presentable

I don't know yet.

We're kind of having a silly, not really serious argument about it. My birthday is on the 18th and we're going on a trip on Friday and we'll be gone for a week.

He thinks we should celebrate Valentines day on my birthday because they're so close. I told him that I don't mind doing that as long as we celebrate his birthday during that time too because if I don't get my own special celebration for just my birthday and nothing else, neither does he. and :nono: at myself, but really

So for right now, we don't have any plans, but I'm hoping he's just trying to throw me off guard and do something to surprise me because I always end up finding out the things he has planned.

Our anniversary is around Valentine's Day, so we always do something. This Valentine's Day, I'm off work for once. I'll be helping with a valentine's party at my little one's school in the afternoon, but going out to one of my favorite restaurants with dh that night. :lick:

I won't see SO until the end of the week. We will be scouting out new places to live. I have been sending him a card a week since the beginning of January. He said that I am going to get a present a day starting tomorrow until V-Day.

ETA: Today is Valentine's Day and I know that he can not be here and I will see him Thursday, I am a bit bummed. This is the first Valentine's Day that I have worked in about 10 years. I usually take off this day relationship or not. :((

Working and going home no SO or DH so no need to celebrate a hallmark holiday geared towards couples..now if Im selected for companionship one of these days I will milk it to the max with a expensive dinner nice hotel and a nice cardio workout..

Whatever I would normally do on a Monday is the same thing I'll be doing on that one as well. Aside from my teenage years, V-Day and "Sweetest Day" aren't things I celebrate...oh and I am dating BTW.

Nothing, as usual. But. I'm sending my great grandma, grandma and little niece a bouquet and chocolates to share

I will be studying for the GRE.

This is the first Valentine's Day in four years that I have been single. Amazingly I don't feel bad or sad.
