I am out of multivitamins and I usually take GNC Mega Women. Before i re-buy I wanted to see if u guys had any recommendations.... or if i should stick with it. Let me know. Thanks

I've been taking More than a Multiple by American Health for a couple of years. In addition to being a multi-vitamin they also have some herbs, amino acids and digestive enzymes in them. I noticed an increase in my energy when I first started taking them. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I take PP Biotin, EFAs, addtl.zinc, and MSM and I haven't had any problems.

I don't know about the best. But I take Seasilver Foundational Health Program Dietary Supplement. It's a liquid, so that's why I'm taking it. I have problems swallowing pills. It contains many vitamins, macro minerals, trace minerals, amino acids, enzymes, co-enzymes and bio-elements.

It also contains silica, Vitamin B (complex), sulfur, but no biotin.

It's called More than a Multiple by American Health. I usually get them from health food stores like Whole Foods or Wild Oats, but I ordered my last bottle from here The VitaminShoppe

Lala,
I have been curious about Seasilver. How long have you been taking it? How's the taste? Is it very expensive?
Where you do get it from?
Sorry about all the questions.
Jen

I've been taking it for 3 wks. now. It's a little pricey. I paid $55 for 2 btls. The bottles are 32 ozs. ea. That's a 2 month supply, I think. I have problems swallowing pills so I am willing to put up with the costs.

I'm feeling an energy boost since taking it. The flavor is cranberry, not too tart though. I bought it from my gynecologist who is in to homeopathy and aromatherapy, etc. The label on it refers to www.myseasilver.com/hwr or call toll-free (866) 201-0172

Thanks for the info, I've been wanting to try them; I've read that liquid vitamins absorb better.

I really like Solgar brand also! Right now I am taking Country Life Total one which I like as well. I alternate between the Solgar brand you mentioned and Country Life.

HI, NYCity

I'll tell you what! Since Caress posted that article about synthetic vitamins, I have been a little leery about putting any old thing in my body. I am in no way saying that vitamins are bad, but that article inspired me to try vitamins derived from whole foods instead.

The multi I took for the last 30 days is called Women's One Daily. Check out Whole Food Vitamins .

I bought GNC Ultranourishair on the same day, so now I will use those for the next 30 days and see if I feel any different or notice any pros over cons. If not, I will then just go with the "naturally healthier" choice.

Of course, the whole foods-derived vitamin was more expensive than regular vitamins.

Will post an update after I'm done with the Ultranourishair.

I take Seasilver too. I think it is not only more potent, but has more noticeable results. I sleep better and breathe better with this liquid multi. I paid $40 for one bottle. I want to know the hook up for two bottles for $55.

Question to all Solgar VM-2000 users: I looked at the ingredients and it contains 5000% RDA of Vitamin A! I remember reading that too much Vit A can cause hair loss. Has anyone had any problems with shedding or hair loss? Here is the link to the ingredient list:

Solgar VM-2000

And the link that discusses Vitamin A and hair loss:
