What age did you get your first relaxer?

5 years old my mom said my hair was too thick to manage

12 or 13 and I couldnt wait.
had healthy relaxed hair until my mother stopped paying for me to go to a really good (and expensive) salon when I started working at age 21.

hair health began to decline when I started going to just random salons went natural 3 years later, relaxed 2 years after that, stayed relaxed for about a year, went natural for about 1 year, relaxed for about 4 years then went natural for the last time 2 years ago

My sister was a baby when I got my first relaxer, so I had to be about 7 or 8.
