What about Christian/Judaism relationships/marriages?

Jewish people do not believe Jesus is the Messiah whereas Christians do. So, I do believe it'd be unequally yoked.

I was going to say only if we are talking about Messianic Judaism + Christianity. That's kind of cool cause then you get the rich understanding of Hebrew, Aramaic, (full culture of) and history from a direct decendant who understands the purpose/ legitimacy of the New testament.

Nope don't believe in the intermarriage thing at all. Messianic Judiasm is NOT Judiasm it is Christianity pure and simple those people put the Jewish slant to it to hopefully get Jews to convert.

Nope dont' believe in the intermarriage thing. I have known people who have married non Jews and they have worked out okay and others where it did not work out I guess it all depends on the people and THEIR relationship. But me personally I am dead set against it

fifi134 - that's what I thought...

Prudent1 - i did kind of have that in mind when I posed this question too... We have Messianic Jews who come to my church all the time... The one way lady put it, it's quite interchangeable (her thoughts on the matter - not a generalization across the board)

My cousin is married to a jewish oncologist for years, she is now a practicing christian. She was not before marriage. They seem to make it work.
