Well Indigo straighten my hair like henna?(lil help)

Alright see I'm very much loving my 4A hair and I love the blueish/black effect I've heared so many people speak about while using indigo but I don't want it to "straighten" my hair like henna does..


so my question is : If I use Indigo by itself well it still have the same effect as henna does on hair??

according to what I have read you should not use indigo by itself. In my experience I don't find that henna straightens my hair out at all.

I agree with Asha. I read that using indigo alone results in a very ugly shade, like a muddy blue/brown color on the hair. Indigo is used alone to dye clothing like jeans.

it's never straightened for me either, but it did loosen the curl pattern
