I haven't had time to browse around this board yet, so I wasn't comfortable with just jumping into posting yet. Although I am certainly interested in obtaining longer hair, I have to admit that I've been cutting away over the past several months. I think I'm ready to give it a break now and allow my hair to grow, so I'm looking forward to sharing and exchanging tips!

Welcome Yante! I learned how to do coils(with Carol's Healthy Hair Butter) from you, I always give you props when someone ask me how I get my curls. I still do them that way even though I'm now texturized. Good to see you!

Sweetcocoa, I would love to see pics of your coils. It's been awhile since I've done them in prep for straightened hair because I haven't had my steam curling iron all year.

NGC, you are right, this board appears to be a VERY supportive place for hair care and growth, but then again, Anikalia told me the same thing and recommened that I join months ago.
