Hair product junkie reloaded!
well, my hair looks a mess. i kind of thought they didnt look that great, but a girl actually told me that my hair dont look good today..lol. i went to a beauty supply store run by some aficans and i asked the girl if she knew someone who did braids. she said that she does them and would charge 60 euros for individuals....thats probably 70 something US dollars...thats a steal because back int he ATL or in Pittsburgh, unless you KNOW someone, you gonna pay 100+ for them. she said that my hair looked bad. I kinda knew that but to have someone say it to my face really confirms it. this last wash was the last straw i think. my hair just couldnt take it...i mean, my hair has grown and theres a big ol part in the middle of my hair and the hair is all fuzzy. I should have gotten them baided further down instead of wearing it loose.

I didnt take offense to what she said...she was only saying outloud what i was thinking. though i do admit, i know she is trying to make a buck. I think i will start taking the hair out. It hurts though because it cost me 130 USD and i only had them in for a month....but it really looks jacked up now and i dont have to hunt for a stylist here in France since this girl came into the picture....what yall think? i never had individuals, btw...and tis girl spoke english so thats a huge plus...she will understand 'too tight!" lol.

sometimes its hard to let go even if you are looking a hot mess i wore my micros til they were about to slip off of my hair then i cut them into a bob to give them a lil more life LOL then i finally let them go but i still miss them....

I understand her trying to be honest, but to flat out tell someone their hair looks "bad" is kind of mean. She could have said it differently.

well, i took them out......but OOOOOOH, THE HORROR!! first of all, my hair was pretty long...the braids, that is. so, I figure to save time I will cut them. My real hair i snot that long...to my shoulders. so i didnt think it was a problem. the lay said she noticed some breakage, but my eyes are bad so i cant telll if its breakage or whatever....

so, i take out the hair...I use the better braids take down spray which helped a lot...but there were a bunch of spots that were had to take out..as usual.

the lay that did my hair had done some wierd sew thingy so I cut the threads there were in there...only i think tha i accidentally ended up cutngmy real hair! i also think when i cut the long braids short to make it easier to take down, i cut some of my real hair!

i mean, my hair was a mess...i was so disgusted. but i dunno what happened...i had the lady that did my hair to trim my ends, but i know she didnt cut THAT much! or maybe i just got a lot of breakage from the braids.....i dunno what happened...this never happened before!

maybe its cuz i am going into my 6th month without a relaxer and the new growth is so thick that it makes my hair appear shorter....i dont have a blowdryer so i cant tell!! oh man, i gotta do something about my hair..it just looks horrible!

I'm sorry to hear about your braids, but it looks like you've acheived lots of growth. As far as the new "braid lady" in the store, I think it would be a good idea to see pictures of some of her work before you let her do your hair. You may want to find out more information by asking her a few more questions. I'm not sure what to ask, because I'm not a braid wearer.
