which do u prefer as a leave in... watery ones or creamy ones? Please post ur results and products u use that make ur hair look great.

In my opinion the creamy ones give you instant gratification in that you see the shine and feel the softness immediately after applying. The watery ones (I've only used Infusium), you see/feel the true benefits once you've finished blowdrying and styling. They both are beneficial, though.

I really don't have a preference yet. But I JUST bought Salerm 21 after all the raves so maybe I'll have one soon .

I don't know why but lately I've been changing my routine a LOT.
At the moment I use either the Pantene Oil Moisturizer each morning. I apply it to my dry hair in sections and then put my hair in a bun. Or I do the same thing with the Neutrogena leave in cream and add some serum. I've noticed a LOT less shedding and breakage compared to spraying my hair each morning with a watery leave in.
I also noticed that this method may be better all over for my hair than it staying wet all the time like it used to be. I do have to wash more often now because the leave in creams and oil moisturizers do build up quickly and if I don't wash often enough my hair looks dull.

I love creamy leave-ins. The only watery leave ins I use is Joico's Integrity and Daily Doctor. Like someone else stated, I usually notice their benefits after my hair is dry. They both leave my hair soft and shiny and the effects are long lasting.

I definately prefer creamy

I like Nexxus Humectress the best. I have used watery ones like Infusium 23 but my hair wasn't as soft and moisturized. I also had less shedding with the humectress.

I only use the watery one for wetness , i always use them with something else for more moisture , such as an oil or butter. which in turn pretty much gives the same results as a creamy leave in, at least for me

I like the creamy ones, especially Paul Mitchell's "THE CREAM" but they are more expensive but theya are better for dry hair application...so I use surge and biolage on a regular especially after conditioning and when I rollerset.

I used to love creamy leave-ins, but have changed my mind and now prefer watery leave-ins. Watery leave-ins allow the natural shine of my hair to show through and they're not as heavy/greasy, so my hair maintains it's "boing" and is more touchable.

Currently I'm leaning toward creamy. I use Herbal Essence creamy leave-in and had some wonderful results. My hair was left soft, shiny and managable. Also, I use Breakfree from Profectiv. This stuff leaves my hair slick, smooth, soft with less shedding. I can't forget about Hair Insurance by Aussie. It detangles and add shine to my hair. All three are my staples, I keep them in rotation. I also use surge sometimes. This is also good, it stops my shedding on contact.

Well I love both! I love to use as watery leave-in like Biotera Leave-in Conditioner when I am doing the wet bun. For bounce and swingmatic (sterry) hair, I use Motions Nourish.

For thick, lush hair, I use something creamy, like L'Oreal Nature's Therapy Unfrizz Smoothing Treatment (Thanks Labett). Unfortunately, using this leave-in gives me hand-in-hair-itis

Watery when my hair is wet. I also like one that is between watery and creamy and I really like it for air drying. It's kind of a slushy consistency. It's by SILKY, SEXY, HAIR and called DRENCH. It smells like mangos and peaches.

Lately, I've been using both though I used to be extremely partial to watery leave-ins.

My favorite water leave-ins are Biolage Leave-In Tonic and Pantene Conditioning Spray.
My favorite creamy leave-ins are Suave Awapuhi and LUST.
I also use Aveda Elixir which is half watery/half creamy.

I like both! I'm still trying to figure out which one I like better. Salerm 21 is #1 but a cream JCS is a spray and good for everyday use.
