Wash n Go on Relaxed Hair

I want to do a wash n go on my relaxed hair. Since it is relaxed there is not to much texture. Any suggestions for making it curly, thought about letting it dry somewhat and adding product. TIA

The only things ive hear to get texture is my Doug a braid out or twist out because there is no product that can creat a curl you don't already have since your relaxed

I use to do this ALL THE TIME when I was relaxed!! I'm doing it now as we speak and it grew my hair tremendously!! What you do is you cowash your hair and then while mine was soaking wet I put in leave in condish, a sealing agent and a light gel for hold and each time I put a product in I scrunched while my head was upside down. you can even plop but i never did because it wasnt popular back then and as time went on each time I did it my hair got curlier and curlier and looked even better as the new growth came in because it had more volume!! it got to the point where I could just wet my hair and it curled up on its own so i didnt have to scrunch as long or sometimes at all

whatever wave pattern your hair makes when it dries..that's the only texture you're gonna get. So if it dries bone straight...then you're not gonna get much texture to it.

I am doing it now on a girl friend of mines. she is transitioning but she just started this month so I just do the wash n go and scrunch it is not a lot of curls but she does get some.

I think there is a thread that's called "relaxed hair means straight all the time, not!"
I use a Dream curls by John Frieda and a curl defining foam by Dove. I scrunch scrunch scrunch, put on a loose hair net and sit under the dryer.

Wow, really? I don't know how the heck it would look on my hair, probably would look a hot mess. I will for sure try it. How long did it take for your hair to be trained like that?

i did it all through junior year i dont remember when my hair got trained but it took enough for me to get frustrated because my cousins friends all did it and their hair came out FABULOUS and after I gave up thats when they all wanted to inform me it takes a while for your hair to mimick it but once you do you will want to wash n go all the timerz
