Prolonged use and high doses of vitamin A (even just three times one's Recommended Daily allowance) can cause liver damage and hair loss. I know that some of you go a little heavy on the vitamins. Those of you that are taking GNC Women's Ultra Mega you are already taking 200% of your daily recommended daily allowance. Some of you I'm sure add on another hair and nail formula to your Bargello Routine. Some hair and nail formula's also have a lot of vitamin A in them also. Be careful not to overdo it on your vitamin routines. You could cause damage to your hair and body.
I just wanted to pass this information on. I didn't know if all of you knew.

Thanks for the info

. Good looking out.

Thanks for the info! I was taking supplements until I read some similar information on taking too much of certain vitamins. I will have to do a search on the posts on supplements for information because I've been very confused about how to approach it. I've heard so much conflicting information. I've heard that certain vitamins have to be taking with other of they won't work, and that supplements must be taken with some kind of fat or they will not be absorbed. I've also heard that the only vitamin needed is a good multi-vitamin and that a chewable Flinstone's fits the bill. Someone help!
