Wanting a Lace Front - What about the hairline?

I would do a search but it's down (SUPRISE :look: ). Anyways, my questions for those of you who wear it...
1. How do you keep the glue from taking out your own hairline?
2. If the lace doesn't match your shade what can be done to make it match?
3. Anybody have any experience with the kinky straight version?
4. Has anybody ordered from these people before, http://www.bargainlacewigs.com/stockwigs.html
I'm looking at this one http://www.bargainlacewigs.com/wig17.htm

Thanks :)

I've heard some ladies shave parts of their hairline so the lacefront looks better. I'm sure the ladies on the board don't do that though. I hope someone comes to give you more info.

OP, I've noticed that there isn't much advice on lacefronts on this forum but there are other hair forums that have sections devoted to lacefronts & weaves...(like BHM - Black Hair Media). HTH!

I'm thinking about getting one in July but I'm really worried about the front hairline thing too. My hairline as it is is pretty far back naturally, I naturally have like a Rhianna forehead, I don't want to loose more of it from bad styling.

No way would I shave my hairline for fake hair :look:
I just went with braids, with 2 cornrows in the front to rest my hairline (I did it all myself..my first cornrow with attachment, not neat but I'm proud of myself).
Thanks for the replies anyways :)
