I was wondering if VO5 Moisture Milks contains protein. I want to start cowashing and I know a lot of people recommend it, but I don't need to use anything that will make my hair hard. Has anyone who used this product had that problem?

I think it has silk protein, from what I remember. But I don't believe that is a hard protein that would make your hair hard.

Thanks. I never cowashed before and I wouldn't want my first time to come out looking a mess.

I believe it's just the V05 Silky Experiences that have silk protein. I know Passion Fruit and Honeydew smoothie have soy protein; I believe they are a part of the Moisture Milks collection.

The soy protein isn't a hard protein. You might just want to stick with the V05 Tea Therapies and Herbal Xcapes collections, though.

ETA: Forgot to mention: no, I've never had that problem.

My hair is VERY protein sensitive and I lurved Moisture Milks!

The Moisture Milks Conditioners are entirely Different from the Silky Experiences and the Tea Theraphy:lick:

The Moisture Milks has Soy Milk Protein
The Silky Experience has Silk Protein
The Tea Theraphy has Nourishing Calming Chamomile Tea

IDareT'sHairis right each conditioner has slightly different ingredients.

i personally love the moisture milks:lick: which do contain a slight protein but i have never experienced any breakage. I like light protein conditioners like flexx and moisture milks so its more finding what works for you

I think its more of an extra extra light protein. This is what I used exclusively when I first started cowashing. I still use it from time to time.
