i'm thinking about doing this....NTM Silk TOuch isn't cuttin' it! My hair was dry as a bone within hours! I had to keep reapplying....I was thinking about mixing it with something else..I read somewhere that a dash of cheapie condish can be used as a leave-in...I'm thinking of adding some Vo5 moisture milks...

Anyone ever try this?

I didn't have much success with the V05 line however, My DDTA does great in my hair as a leave-in.

Speaking of which, I found about 30 bottles of it this past Saturday, it was all I could do NOT go get them! I'm proud of myself!

I use Cantu and Garnier Fructis sleek and shine conditioners as leave-ins and they work great for me. I love the VO5 moisture milks conditioners. I have never used them as a leave-in though. I will have to give my VO5 a try as potential leave-ins:) ;) :p

I've used VO5 Moisture Milks Conditioner as a leave-in and did like it. :yep: I'm noticing that my hair type/texture is changing on me and I use a smaller amount b/c of that, now. Give it a try! BTW, my hair wasn't crazy about the Strawberries and Cream, but it was okay.

I use Suave conditioners in that way, too!

I use Suave M&H, Suave trop. coconut, DDTA, & sometimes pantene HC as leaveins. I'm natural though, so I don't know how it would work on relaxed hair

I've used almost every cheapy conditioner under the sun as a leave in. I'm natural also but it works fine for me. I usually wear a bun so I guess it doesn't matter much.

I totally agree. I relaxed my mom's hair this past weekend. She put a black rinse on her hair afterwards and blowdried it to a crisp. I told her rough and dry it felt and she was getting ready to reach for the pink oil. I had my hair care arsenal with me so I rubbed about a nickel-sized amount of DDTA in her hair and it instantly revived. She asked me for it and I said no. I only got 2 1/4 bottles left.

 If you can't find her any, I found a store locally that has some! We can still get your mom hooked up!
