Vixen Sew in

I saw this on fb as well. I swear it's getting harder to tell what's real and what's not which is better than knowing it's fake just by a quick look

Wow. This looks amazing. I've been doing my own sew ins for many years and have a great technique down. This looks like it would be hard to self-install though.

My hair stylist said she wouldn't recommend it for natural hair because it would take too much heat to maintain the look for an extended period.

For the summer, definitely agree. Winter though, I think you can get away with using far less heat to maintain it. looks great.

really the key to this is choosing hair that is an impeccable match to your own texture. i love the versatility, but since i wear weaves for protective styles, i wouldn't want to have to leave this much of my own hair out.

Wouldn't your hair have to be as long as, or close to the length of the extensions? I admit, this is making me side eye a LOT of people now lol

Destiny9109,

The model's hair was significantly shorter than her extensions. I agree with Rocky91; a seamless install is going to depend on having hair that matches your texture to a t. This is the kind of style you do when you find weave that can literally double as your own hair or you will walk around lookin foolish.
