How long do you wait on average to install a sew-in after a relaxer?

It is best to wait at least 2 weeks after a relaxer before doing an install.

i would wait 2 weeks minimum, but ideally atleast 3-4 weeks...for future reference if you know you're going to get a sew in there's no reason to relax your whole head, because most of it is going to be hidden, and you're just weakening the strands that are about to be braided and the hair is going to be sewed on to...if you're getting a touch up, just to around the edges or the leave-out...and if its a full head with no hair out, you dont need to relax at all.

Two weeks if your hair is strong and four weeks, if you can. I know I have to wait at least 4 weeks before I can reapply like that, I was reapplying back to back and my hair suffered. Now I wear them for four weeks and remove them. If I take my weave out and see no breakage or excessive shedding I will reapply in two weeks, good luck...

Two weeks after a protein treatment and good DC
