Welcome to the board. Wow, taking vitamins at 15. I can't get my sixteen year old to do that. Anyway, I would suggest visiting your physician before you start a vitamin program.

well i asked them pro folks at the store they said aslong as i aint taking more than it says and aslong as i haven't got any serious health problems then it will be fine /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actually, those "pro folks" at the store often know very little. Seems like here, they haven't helped you much /images/graemlins/mad.gif

First, as the previous poster said, you should consult your physician, especially since you are a teen.

Second, one really bad thing which you are doing is that you are taking supplements in isolation. Nutrients work together and taken in isolation can defeat your purpose and sometimes be quite harmful.

Manganese is good for the hair, but it requires an interplay with zinc, among other things to generate that collagen production, right along with Vitamin C.

Amino acids, even at the relatively low dose you have for your age, should always be taken without food. You are defeating your purpose here because the aminos in the food will actually compete with the supplement. And you take them with water or juice, not milk for the same competition issues.

With the sulfur, that sounds like a homeopathic supplement. It is to be taken through a relevant course for a limited period of time and to be alternated with likely another supplement for whatever purpose you are taking it.

Please talk to your physican about a good multivitamin and perhaps a multimineral supplement.

Cheers,

Jade
