So it's that time of year! Who are you taking into the New Year, and who's being left behind?

Taking into 2015:
Annabelle's Perfect Blends (Etsy)
Bellezza Naturale Skin (Etsy)
Jakaela (Etsy)
Hattache
Sweet Nature By Eddie
LACE Naturals (her body butters are staples)
JMonique Naturals
Curlmart
Mission Condition
Excellent shipping, products, and customer service from all of the above!

Maybes:
Marie Dean
Sarenzo
Silk Dreams-I know to buy in bulk if I decide to repurchase lol...

Leaving Behind:
Soultanicals-once I get this final order, it will be a wrap.
Cream and Coco-Bellezza soaps have hers by a long shot. Plus I love how interpersonal the owner is.
Smooth Naturals-I just don't have a use for her products anymore, hair or body.
Oyin-simply because I can get it at Target
Ynobe Shop-Great CS, her products are just mediocre now

Etsy has been winning this year for me.

What say you?

Yes Froreal3, that will strictly be me. Only purchasing things I need and love from vendors that are good. Thankfully, I haven't had any negative experiences with vendors this year, I just decided what brands I will repurchase from based on what I like.

Taking:
+ Silk Dreams
+ Oyin Handmade
+ Qhemet Biologics
+ My Honey Child
+ Curlmart
+ Hattache
+ Pampered & Twisted

I have a bunch of stuff in my stash that I haven't got around to using yet, so I'm not sure if they're repurchases performance wise. Therefore, I will not list them at this time

Oyin
Shea Moisture
Hydroquench
Curl Junkie

Leaving behind anything not listed above.

I'm trying APB and Blue Roze in 2015 then that will be it

I can tell no lies lolol. If you got a awesome deep conditioner you can sucker me in.

I don't mess with certain folks now but I'm always willing to try again as long as your name isn't Afroveda

I love ordering from Hattache. They are so quick and efficient. I hate that Foxy Mango is closing. They were also super fast.

Newly tried vendors/companies I'm taking:
APB
Jakeala
J. Monique
Belle Butters

Revisited vendors I'm taking:
SheScentIt
Bobeam
Sarenzo (for body stuff here and there)

On the fence:
Camille Rose - unless I decrease my stash significantly I can't see myself buying anything from this line in 2015. Lord knows I'm not going to finish this Curl Maker anytime soon.

Leaving:
B.A.S.K/Bekura - Haven't finished the products I have from last black friday
Darcy's - I have found a better replacement for the one staple I had from this line
Curl Junkie & Bee Mine - Too expensive, other DCs do a similar job

Vendors rolling into 2015:

Bobeam - great customer service; love her butter, shampoo bars, and the face masks have turned my skin around

Jakeala

Oyin - love that I can get it on the ground, Curlmart, Oyin website

Komaza

Target - love this store for its variety of natural hair products

I didn't try too many new vendors in 2014 (learned my lesson in 2013). As far as new vendors I'm taking Natural Oasis. I bought some Bear Fruit and Pomade Shop items, but I haven't tried them yet.

Staple lines/vendors that will continue into 2015:

MHC (that type 4 cream is everything)
Bask/Bekura (YAM has been my boo since her Etsy days)
Yes to carrots
SM

Leaving behind:
I left behind all the trifling vendors in 2013. Stuck with tried and true for the most part in 2014.

J.Monique-When she has sales

IN
- Bobeam
- Oyin (pomade only)
- Pura Body Naturals
- Shescentit
- Hairveda
- Bue Roze Beauty
- LACE Natural
- My Honey Child

OUT
- Bask/Bekura (the re-launch sucks; offering half-filled jars of Yam is unacceptable; found replacements for my staple body cream and scrub)
- Lia Naturals (nonexistent customer service; overly perfumed soaps)
- Komaza (poor customer service; modified the only product I liked; mostly ineffective products)
- Happy Nappy Honey (greasy, low performing products; ridiculously poor shipping and customer service)
- Shea Terra Organics (excellent shipping and customer service; products suck tho)
- Jakeala (very good customer service and shipping; products were ineffective)
- Anabelle’s Perfect Blend (teeny weeny containers; lousy shipping practices, e.g., envelopes)
- Ynobe (products molded before I could make a dent in them)
- Darcy's Botanicals (products ineffective)

BENCHED, MAY RETURN
- J. Monique (until the shipping practices are improved, e.g., envelopes)
- Sister’s Keeper (until the shipping rates improve, e.g., $15 to ship one package is ridiculous)
- Claudie’s (until the shipping rates improve, e.g., pay the high rate and I may/may not give you a refund…ANGTFTBS)

WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE FROM
Hairenvy (offers a very good, non-shea based hair butter that smells like a nice liqueur)

Taking:
Silk Dreams
Qhemet Biologics
My Honey Child
Komaza Care
Hattache
Pampered & Twisted

Maybe: (depending on how good the sale is :look: )
Shescentit
Hairveda
Soultanicals
Pura Body Naturals

Leaving:
Bask
SM excluding the poo, for now

NaturallyATLPCH thank you for starting this thread. Thank you to everyone who has contributed. This information helps the rest of us make wise choices and hopefully sends a message to vendors what we will accept and what won't be tolerated.

In:
Bobeam - moisturizing shampoo bars took me away from messy clay washes
NaturelleGrow - deep conditioners that have yet to fail me
APB - major piece in the puzzle of moisturizing leave-ins; shipping time has gotten better
HennaSooq - shipping has gotten better here also and the blog is getting more interesting
Vitacost - those sales work so well for oils, vitamins and supplements
NJoy - tried making my own sulfur oil years ago and it was so not worth it

Maybe moving in:
J. Monique Naturals - so far, I've only tried the body scrubs

On the way out:
Sally Beauty - really only use them for sales for things like gloves, capes, conditioning caps

Out:
Trying new vendors you ladies on LHCF haven't recommended to me.

Bringing
-Oyin
-Silk Dreams (in bulk, three times a year cuz that shipping is no bueno but the conditioners do me well)
-Bobeam (me loves Ms Laquita!)
-Bask/Bekura
-Shea Moisture

Leaving
-Soultanicals directly (only getting the prepoo in stores from now on)
-Darcys Botanicals. Unfortunately, im gonna have to leave them behind. I've found some better performing products
-Design Essentials. Ehhh
-Liquid Gold. Nice, but not a big deal

Hairenvy offers a very good, non-shea based hair butter that smells like a nice liqueur

Ooooooh which product is this?:lick:

Keeping:
Blue Roze Beauty
APB
Oyin Handmade
SheaMoisture
JOICO

Maybe:
Njoy oil. I need to use it for awhile before I know if it does anything for me.

Leaving:
Soultanicals (It took an entire month for me to get my order...ummm, no).

I have some products from Jakeala on the way. If they're as good as I hear, then I'll take them with me.

Taking into 2015

Komaza
KJ Naturals
APB
Jakeala
Mission Condition ( if she ever reopens)
BRB
Hattache
Pampered & Twisted
Hairveda ( from Hattache or Pampered & Twisted cause she takes a while to ship)
Liquid Gold
Claudie's
SD ( never had any issues but I would probably only buy in bulk if it's that serious and thankfully it's not for me since I have so much stuff)

Maybe

Naturelle Grow ( still trying to make her DC's work for me, if not then I'm moving on)
Siamese Twist ( if the products I ordered work for my hair)

The Hell No

Soultanicals- I share the same sentiment as others when it comes to them in terms of shipping. Their shipping time is beyond a mess which is too bad because I did like the Knot Sauce.

Not in the mood for BS from vendors next year...if folks want to act up, money will be spent elsewhere.

Newly tried vendors/companies I'm taking:
APB
Jakeala
J. Monique
Belle Butters

Revisited vendors I'm taking:
SheScentIt
Bobeam
Sarenzo (for body stuff here and there)

Curl Junkie & Bee Mine - Too expensive, other DCs do a similar job
oneastrocurlieWhich DCs are comparable to Curl Junkie?

GeorginaSparks

I used the CJ Curl Rehab. To me it was moisturizing, thick but had good slip and easy to apply and detangle with. Other DCs I think compare are Shea Moisture Superfruit Masque, Shea Moisture Manuka Honey (both have protein but it's listed midway or at the bottom of the ingredients list), Bobeam Condish, and Eva Nyc Hair Therapy Mask (also has protein but very moisturizing).
