Protien (and other essential vitamins) can be an issue for Veggie girls. I am really not a meat person myself so I look for protien in other foods like tofu, nuts, eggs, edamame, etc. A lot of time it can be hard to get the right amount of nutrients you need when you are a vegeterian or vegan so it is important that you supplement the lack of protien and other vitamins with things other than meat or animal products. HTH!

Can you get the vegan protein powder? I think I seen something like that in Whole Foods. Its basically dehyrated plant protein. I am thinking of getting it and adding it to my green smoothies.

I did vegan for all of March and most of April. Now, I'm just a very occasional fish, milk and cheese eater. I still take a multi vit, Omega-3, a cayenne/garlic supplement, and Vit B (I was told it's better for absorption to take the whole B vit than just B12.)

I notice that my hair is much thicker.
