Using reconstructors

Can you use reconstructors everytime you wash your hair? My hair loves the affirm 5 in 1. It's heavy enough and gets the tangles out. I need to find another one that I can change up with the Affirm one. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Keeshes

Thanks Nay, I tried a sample, i think i needed a little bit more on my hair. It felt pretty good after it. Do you use it every week or change up recontructors?

Are you all trying to give me another product to buy!!!!

Just kidding, but now I'll definitely be looking into reconstructors. Do they have protein in them? Because I don't want to overload on the protein!

I used it back in the day. It was ok (nothing great, imo). It did smell good though.

Ok, dumb question-what is the purpose of using a reconstructor?

Yes good guestion!!!

What is the purpose and what is the difference between a Protein Conditioner like ApHogee and a reconstructor?

keeshes,

i use mine whenever i wash my hair, which is twice a week. i don't think the st. ives is a protein one. i think it's a moisturizing reconstructor but i'm not sure. i also have a protein conditioner (motions oil), which i use twice a month.

I too love Affirm 5 in 1 reconstructor, my hairdresser always uses that on me after a touch-up. She doesn't follow up with a moisturizing conditioner. And I get no breakage. Im thinking because it does contain a strong protein in it, I wouldn't use it regularly.

.......A reconstructor is milder protein than an actual protein treatment, like Aphogee. I prefer reconstructors cause they contain a balance of protein and moisture.

Keeshes.....I would just stick with 5 in 1, its too good to even think about alternating with another reconstructor.
