What kind of reconstructor do you use upon the first wash after your relaxer? Hard of soft?? I have the following reconstructors in my stash;
curl junkie repair me

Sebastian penetrate

Aphogee two step

Which one is best to use to make sure the hair is at it's strongest, without drying it out?

Since I do a lite protein treatment before I relax and a hard one during the relaxer, I would suggest doing the opposite of what you used before relaxing. If you don't do a protein treatment before relaxing, I would say use a hard protein treatment during your relaxer.

I usually use the Aphogee 2 minute Recon. during my relaxer process...and I also use a mild protein treatment the week before my relaxer. So the week after I do the same and do a mild protein treatment. So far, it's been working. I would suggest a light-medium protein dc...unless your hair needs A LOT of protein.
